I'm struggling with how I feel

Anxiety, panic, OCD, low mood, stress or feeling overwhelmed.

There are times when life can feel like too much. You might be worrying constantly, struggling to switch off, feeling panicky or on edge, or finding that everyday things take more effort than they used to.

You may be feeling low, lacking motivation or losing interest in things you normally enjoy. You might also find yourself caught up in unwanted thoughts, worries or urges that are difficult to let go of. With OCD, these thoughts can feel particularly intrusive or distressing, and you may find yourself doing certain things, checking, seeking reassurance or following routines to try to reduce the anxiety.

Sometimes you know exactly what has caused you to feel this way. At other times, you may simply know that you're not feeling like yourself.

Therapy can give you some space to step back and understand what is happening. Together, you can explore the thoughts, feelings and patterns that may be keeping things going and find practical ways to manage them.

For anxiety, panic and OCD, therapy may include learning how to respond differently to anxious or intrusive thoughts and gradually reducing the behaviours that keep the cycle going. For low mood and stress, it may involve rebuilding routines, motivation and confidence, and finding more helpful ways of managing difficult emotions.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you come to therapy.

That's part of what we can work out together.
